Angela from United States

"My name is Angela, I am an Italian woman living in the United States and I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in October 2006.

In the past two years, while dealing with the difficulties of this disease, I created a project that I called 'Flowers 4 MS'.

I view flowers as a symbol of hope, beauty and life and I feel they are the perfect representation of my dream, which is finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis and for all the rare neurological diseases that are so similar to it.

http://www.flowers4ms.com/

Flowers bring joy and beauty in very simple, but wonderful ways and they speak to everyone’s hearts through their beauty. Through the sale of beautiful floral greetings cards, I raise awareness and funds to aid current Multiple Sclerosis research projects."

I know that Angela is a woman of real substance. She has had to summon the fortitude to deal with her potentially devastating illness as well as continuing to take care of home and family. And as if all this weren't enough she has begun a very successful project selling flower cards to raise money for MS research. In th short time she has ben doing this she has already raised $20,000. This is indeed a remarkable woman and we can nothing else but wish all the very best of everything.

Being intrigued by the sincerity that shines through from Angela's site, Flowers4MS.com, I purchased a box of cards in December 2008. In a short time I received a warm, handwritten thank you card from Angela. So impressed by the personal attention, I wrote back to Angela and we have been communicating regularly since.

Being led to Angela and her work to raise funds and awareness to cure MS was truly a rare find. Angela is sincerely dedicated to her cause.
Her courage, sincerity, creativity, enthusiasm and plain hard work gives hope and encouragement to thousands with and without MS.
I am old enough to be Angela’s father and I will tell you – this is one special person. I am fortunate to not have MS but I am still lifted and inspired by Angela’s compassion for others. The only advice I ever give to Angela is to try and remember to think of herself in the middle of her diligent crusade to raise funds to find a cure for MS.
Angela always puts others before herself and that is one of the reasons her special work touches the hearts of people all over the world.
I encourage everyone to purchase Angela's very beautiful floral cards and have the good feeling to be a part of her very important cause.

Angela is an encouragement for every one. She has been my great friend and on-line companion since we met earlier this year. I was some one who did not converse much until I met this wonderful person. Her heart felt work on WWW.Flowers4MS.com should be witnessed and revered by all.

Angela posseses that "optimism" gene. I wish more people shared her outlook. She doesn't look at the glass half full or half empty but rather always full. Challenges are a part of her life that she embraces them with grace and style. Her projects to raise money for MS are a testament to her drive.

I am proud to be her friend.

Dear Friends,

thank you all for taking the time to be a part of this and for giving me the support and the friendship I need to succeed in battling my MS and in making this project known to the world. I have so many dreams and I am never going to let go of them until we will find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis and for all the other rare neurological disorders that affects way too many of us.
I believe that we can work together and succeed to help our cause. Anything is possible in life! We just have to keep believing it.
Thank you all for being my friends and for caring about me and about my work.
You are Angela's Angels and you have become my family.
Lots of love,
hugs
Angela

Angela,

I am so prud of all your accomplishments and things you have done to raise awareness for those of us who have MS. You are so busy helping everyone else out you barely take the time for yourself. You are such an inspiation to me and other people---you could easily feel sorry for yourself but instead you chose the other route---one to raise money for a cure and trust me all of us are very grateful to you.

Your videos are so inspiring. I know the infusions you take are not easy on your body, but with your faith, you manage to stay strong and help all of us. Keep up the great work and I am so proud of you.

Your friend in Texas,
Regina

My husband and I have had the pleasure in meeting Angela last year and were drawn to her warmth and honesty. It is rare to meet someone with such "down to earth" values and so determined to make a difference in this world. We bought her cards and use it for all occassions (perfect for birthdays or thank you's). Each time we use it, we are reminded of her passion to help fund the research to find a cure for MS.

I encourage everyone out there to help with this cause, as much or little as you can. Angela proves that a little does go a long way and together we can make a difference.

Hugs,
V,C,M & C

Hi Angela, I've heard soooo many great things about you from a mutual friend! We recently walked for MS in Seattle and sent you a signed t-shirt! That was a great day and such an important cause to support. Thank you for all that you are doing to support research for a cure. Thank you also for being an inspiration.
Best, Patricia
